Full course description
Module 1: Orientation provides an overview of First Steps, Missouri’s early intervention system for infants and toddlers, birth to age 3, who have delayed development or diagnosed conditions that are associated with developmental disabilities. The content for this module includes the philosophy of early intervention, the federal requirements of Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and how the process is conducted between families and professionals.
